Six Part Workshop Series
Many current sex offender units do not incorporate evidence-based practices (EBP) in their programs because of competing goals, mandates, and historic practices. Those responsible for evaluating practices often look for the components of EBP during the evaluation process.
Staff responsible for the supervision of these offenders are challenged by the seriousness of the offense coupled with workloads and public opinion. Many staff shy away from EBP and ask how they apply to this specialized caseload.
This series will explore how officers can incorporate the current research to enhance their supervision practices and outcomes. Live sessions held 1:30-3:30 pm Eastern.
