Enhancing intrinsic motivation and targeting interventions are hallmarks of a comprehensive evidence-based program. In this session, well-researched and tailored techniques and models will be demonstrated which can be used to address dynamic risk factors while enhancing positive behavioral change. Participants will be introduced to various interventions that they can incorporate into their regular supervision practices to improve outcomes.

At the conclusion of the session, participants will be able to:

• Explain current models of treatment and targets.
• Describe how supervision officers can work collaboratively with treatment providers to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Demonstrate techniques and interventions, and apply appropriately.
